FAIRMONT — A social media post saying authorities had information about a motorcycle clubs war but didn’t release it is false, according to Marion County Prosecutor Jeff Freeman and U.S. Marshal J.C. Raffety.
“There’s no truth to it, we don’t have any intel to support it, and it didn’t come from us,” according to Raffety’s office.
And Freeman’s office issued a statement saying the prosecutor “does not now have, and never has had, any information indicating an imminent ‘war’ between any rival motorcycle clubs.”
“As a result, (Freeman) has not released or confirmed any such information,” the statement said. “No law enforcement agency in Marion County has received, confirmed or released any such information.”
