FRESNO, California (KSEE/KGPE) – Seven people who were arrested in connection to a motorcycle club clubhouse raid on Saturday have been identified.

The clubhouse was raided by anti-gang enforcement officers Saturday night and netted several arrests and firearm seizures.

Detectives with the Multi-Agency Gang Enforcement Consortium (MAGEC) arrested several affiliates of a motorcycle club and booked them into the Fresno County Jail.

They were identified as:

  • Stephen Meza, 58, of Tulare: He faces felony charges of carrying a loaded, stolen firearm and carrying a firearm as a club member.
  • Rey Rodriguez, 31, of Fresno: He faces a felony charge of carrying a firearm as a club member and a misdemeanor of obstructing an investigation.
  • Jason Findley, 42, of Selma: He faces a misdemeanor charge of obstructing an investigation.
  • Sonny Luttrell, 36, of Chowchilla: He faces a misdemeanor charge of obstructing an investigation.
  • Anthony Carrillo, 32, of Fresno: He faces a misdemeanor charge of obstructing an investigation.
  • Skylar Shurtz, 26, of Fresno: He had an outstanding arrest warrant for DUI.
  • Vanessa Franco, 41, of Fresno: She faces a misdemeanor charge of obstructing an investigation.

On Saturday, a MAGEC detective was on the 3200 block of east Belmont Avenue when he saw a man carrying a handgun in his waistband, the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office said.

The man was later identified as Rodriguez.

The detective attempted to contact Rodriguez, but he avoided the detective by going inside a known motorcycle club clubhouse, the Sheriff’s Office said.

As more MAGEC detectives arrived to help contact Rodriguez, other members at the property closed and locked an iron gate and refused to allow detectives inside, the Sheriff’s Office said.

Due to a lack of cooperation, a search warrant was authored, and the Fresno County Sheriff’s SWAT team was called in to serve it.

The SWAT team was able to contact and detain 43 people who were in and around the building.

Seven people were arrested and three handguns were found, including the firearm Rodriguez was originally seen carrying, the Sheriff’s Office said.
