Network of Victim Assistance (NOVA) recently received a generous gift of art supplies from Bikers Against Child Abuse of Bucks County (B.A.C.A.), an organization dedicated to bringing awareness of and preventing child abuse.

The art supplies were collected at B.A.C.A.’s annual B.A.C.A Bucks Bash, which was held in the fall. The items will be used in counseling sessions with child clients, placed in waiting rooms for children to use, and shared with child clients as part of NOVA’s Holiday Gift Program.

“NOVA has a long relationship with Bikers Against Child Abuse of Bucks County and we are incredibly grateful for their continued support” said Angela M. McGettigan, Director of Community Relations and Development at NOVA. “The art supplies will be used with our child clients to help to bring them comfort while they wait for their appointments.”

“Bikers Against Child Abuse of Bucks County wants to help NOVA continue their mission in the community. We may not be a large organization, but when we call upon our members, supporters, and community, it seems as if anything is possible,” said Steve Mattes, President, Bikers Against Child Abuse. “Over this past year we were happy to contribute financially to NOVA’s expansion of their Children’s Advocacy Center in Fairless Hills, as well as provide a large amount of art supplies and puzzles for their waiting rooms, conference rooms, etc. We appreciate NOVA and all that they do for our community and we look forward to our continued partnership in the years to come.”
