Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity Easter Egg Run postponed due to COVID-19

Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity Easter Egg Run

The annual Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity Easter Egg Run that would took place on Easter Sunday, setting off from Glasgow Green and ending opposite the hospital in Govan postponed due to COVID-19 pandemy.

That is what was written on their official site:

“During these challenging times, we’ve had to make the difficult decision to postpone our annual Easter Egg Run until later in the year due to the Coronavirus crisis.

We’ll miss seeing our incredible community of bikers in their Easter costumes, but hope that we can set a new date for an alternative parade in due course in partnership with the committee, the council and the police.

Many fundraising events have been postponed or cancelled, but our NHS heroes at the hospital are continuing to work around the clock to care for the boys and girls in the hospital – and they need you more than ever.

If you were hoping to attend the Easter Egg Run, and if you can, please show your support by donating the £10 suggested entry fee to our urgent COVID-19 appeal.”
