UK: Local bikers hoping to raise £100k with charity ride from Rochdale to Pakistan

A local group of motorbike riders from Rochdale are aiming to reach Pakistan with charity run in June.

The eight motorcycle riders from the Ride For Humanity group, are going to raise approximately £100,000 in this 8,000-mile journey.

The collected money will be used to fund sustainable and needy projects across Pakistan, including water handpumps, rickshaws, sewing machines, food packs, Iftar meals, school packs, orphans’ sponsorships, medical camps, clinics, repairing homes, farming equipment, livestock, and other essential aid.

The ‘Project Pakistan’, Rochdale’s branch of One Nation will be working together with Ride For Humanity helping them to raise the funds.

Ride For Humanity is a motorcycle community that likes to use their hobby to assist humanitarian causes all over the world – organising various bike rides and fundraisers for different projects.

One Nation is a UK-based humanitarian charity which supports local, national, and international projects, from providing hot food and support for the homeless to providing emergency aid, clean water, food, clothes, and shelters in devastated countries around the world.
