An outlaw motorcycle club member has been charged after a Corrective Services officer was allegedly threatened in Wollongong last month.
Investigators from Criminal Groups Squad’s Strike Force Raptor South commenced an investigation following reports a man, who was in the custody of Corrective Services NSW, allegedly made verbal threats to an officer following a short struggle while receiving medical treatment at a hospital in Wollongong on July 22.
No one was injured during the incident.
Following inquiries, strike force investigators arrested a 38-year-old man at a Silverwater facility about 11.30am on Monday.
He was charged with intimidate law officer (not police officer) and remanded in custody to appear at Wollongong Local Court on Thursday.
