Cullman man arrested after firing at motorcycle club members

A Cullman man was arrested Saturday after shooting at members of a motorcycle club in Good Hope.

Gregory Stuart Adams, 52, of Cullman, went to the club, of which he had been a member and argued with several of the current members. He was asked to leave and he left, according to a release from the Cullman County Sheriff’s Office.

As other members began to leave, believing that Adams was no longer in the area, the suspect fired multiple shots as members, women and children came outside, the release noted.

Deputies arrived on the scene and learned the identity of the suspect.

A short time later, Adams made his way to the CCSO Detention Center lobby where he wanted to speak with deputies and seek medical treatment from injuries he said he received from club members after the shooting. Adams was booked into the Cullman County Detention Center on a charge of shooting into an occupied building dwelling. Other charges may be pending.

Adams has made bond.
