Police: Perth bikie ‘flushed drugs down toilet’

A MONGOLS bikie allegedly tried to flush cocaine down the toilet during a police raid on Wednesday.

Gang Crime Squad Officers executed seven search warrants across Perth targeting members of the Mongols outlaw motorcycle gang on February 5.

A man was found allegedly trying to flush cocaine down the toilet as police raided his Butler home.

Police have also seized five vials of steroids, cannabis, $26,765 in cash and the full weight of the cocaine is still to be determined.

The 33-year-old man from Butler is facing a string of charges and was remanded in custody to appear in Joondalup Magistrates’ Court tomorrow.

A 42-year-old man will be charged with way of summons after police allegedly found a replica firearm and a prohibited drug, being diazepam, at a Landsdale property.

Cannabis, prescription drugs and a stun gun were allegedly found during a search warrant in Thornlie and a 26-year-old will be charged by summons.

Inquiries are ongoing in relation to the prescription drugs and the stun gun.

Police have seized 14 cannabis plants and cannabis material from a house in Girrawheen.

A 42-year-old man has been charged with having and cultivating a prohibited drug with intent to sell and supply.

He is due to appear in the Perth Magistrates’ Court on March 3.

A 29-year-old woman from Ellenbrook will be charged by summons for possessing a prohibited drug and smoking implement after police allegedly seized methylamphetamine at her home.

A smoking implement was seized by police at an address in Nollamara, where a 20-year-old woman will be charged by summons for possession of the implement.

Police is searching for a 19-year-old man from the same address, who is wanted for a breach of his post sentence supervision order.

As part of the operation, a 52-year-old man was taken into custody at a house in Karrinyup and has been charged with breach of post sentence supervision order.

He is due to appear in the Fremantle Magistrates’ Court on March 3.

The people arrested in relation to search warrants in Butler, Landsdale, Thornlie and Karrinyup are members of the Mongols OMCG while the rest are associates, according to police.
