Caloh Wagoh murder trial suspect is released

Caloh Wagoh MC

A 57-year-old suspect in the murder process around motorcycle club Caloh Wagoh is released. Roël T. is suspected of the murder of Justin Jap Tjong, but the court finds that the Public Prosecution Service (PPS) has not made the suspicions against the man clear enough and leaves him free.

Jap Tjong was shot dead in Amsterdam in 2017 . He was, according to the prosecution as a driver involved in the mistaken murder of Hakim Changachi. When shortly afterwards the actual target had to be wound up, Jap Tjong no longer wanted to participate. A few weeks later he was killed himself.

According to the PPS, T. shot him. He himself rejects all suspicions. According to his lawyer, the suspicion is only based on a key witness to this trial, who would also not directly point to T. It is unclear whether T. remains a suspect after his release.

Assassinations

Sixteen leaders and members of the motorcycle club stand trial in the Caloh Wagoh trial. The group is said to have, in varying composition, committed murders for several clients.

The process now revolves around eleven murder assignments, of which five have succeeded. According to the PPS, most of the orders came from Ridouan Taghi, who is on trial for a series of liquidations in the Marengo trial.
