A Riverina lawyer linked to the Bandidos Motorcycle Club has been found guilty at trial on drug and other criminal offences.
Solicitor Alina Yousif was arrested in raids in Albury in early December 17 during an operation targeting drugs linked to the bikie group. At the time of her arrest, she was listed as living in Albury, however she was working as a lawyer in Wagga.
After a week-long trial in Albury that wrapped up on Tuesday, a jury found Yousif guilty on three charges. In other news the jury determined the 28-year-old had taken part in the supply of 55.5 grams of the drug ice, had used a false document to obtain a licence for another person, recklessly dealt with the proceeds of crime and took part in a criminal group.
Yousif now faces sentence in the District Court at Griffith at the sittings due to begin on June 25.
