Detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding three fires and their possible links after two properties and a car were damaged overnight.
In the first incident police were called to a supplement store on Nepean Highway, Frankston following reports of a fire just after 11pm.
A short time later and distance away police were then called to a car on fire in Brunel Road Seaford about 11.10pm.
Two men, believed to have had their faces covered, were reportedly seen running away from the vehicle into a nearby reserve.
Attending police searched the area and were unable to find those involved.
A crime scene guard has been placed on the property overnight and it is expected an arson chemist will attend the scene this morning.
In the third incident emergency services were called following reports of a possible explosion and subsequent fire in Morialta Road Cranbourne West about 1.30am.
Attending police found the Finks Outlaw Motorcycle Club (OMC) clubhouse extensively damaged by fire.
It is believed no one was in the property at the time and no one was injured.
Investigators are looking at the possibility that the three incidents are linked.
