B-N.C – On Wednesday 6 May and Friday 15 May, the Central Netherlands court will deal with a so-called pro forma hearing in the Eris investigation. The hearings take place in the Schiphol Judicial Complex (JCS). Both session days start at 9:30 AM. It is not possible for the public to attend the session. The court requests all representatives of the press who are interested in attending the case to register.

Eris process

Suspects who had a (leading) role at motorcycle club Caloh Wagoh are on trial in the Eris trial. The Public Prosecutor’s Office suspects a total of 16 suspects, including a crown witness, of, among other things, 5 liquidations and several attempts to do so. During the upcoming pro forma hearings, there is talk about the pre-trial detention of the suspects who are detained. The case is not handled substantively.

Two session days

The cases of 6 suspects will be heard on Wednesday 6 May. The cases of 8 suspects will be heard on Friday 15 May. 2 suspects are not currently detained, or will be in court later this year. As usual, journalists can see the exact distribution of both days via the press lists.

Information for press

The court is in consultation with the Schiphol Judicial Complex about the details of the two session days, what measures should be taken and what this means for the media. Due to coronavirus measures, it is not yet known how much space is available for media representatives.
