New Zealand: Multiple police raids on Hells Angels, 13 arrested

Police storm Hells Angels chapter house in Palmerston North on Thursday, one of 16 raids across the North Island.

As a result of multiple police raids targeting Hells Angels across the North Island of New Zealand 13 has been arrested, drugs, weapons, stolen goods, vehciles, motorcycles and even 2.6 tonne excavator worth $35,000 seized as well as two drug labs shuted down.

In total police has raided 16 properties while executing a series of warrants acted on across Palmerston North, the rest of Manawatū, Whanganui, Auckland and Bay of Plenty over the past week.

During armed raid on Palmerston North clubhouse police closed entire Albert St in the limits of block where clubhouse located.

Sources in police informing that all those raides was a part of one big and long-lasting operation aimed on Hells Angels Central charter.

All 13 arrested are charged on the possession, manufacture and supply of class-A drugs, and firearms offences.
