Two King Cobras shot in Auckland

Shooting

On Tuesday evening in Auckland, two men linked to King Cobras were shot.

The shooting was staged in the street by one or more assailants who are now at large.

It is assumed that the shooting took place between hostile members of King Cobras and the Rebels MC in Māngere over territory tensions.

A police spokeswoman said there have been no officially confirmed links between the shooting and the Rebels.

She also added that the police received a complaint from Middlemore Hospital about two people with minor gunshot wounds at about 8 p.m.

The victims refused to cooperate with the police and didn’t describe the assailants who shot at them.

The police claim that both men are linked to the King Cobras, but police have no evidence that the incident was linked to recent tensions between King Cobras and the Rebels Motorcycle Club.
