Three men, including a senior member of the Nomads MC, have been charged after one man was shot at and stabbed during a violent rampage in the Mandurah area.
Police say at about 8:45pm on April 12, a group of people – some armed with weapons including a firearm, a tomahawk and a golf club – forced their way into a home on Steerforth Drive, Coodanup.
It’s alleged shots were fired inside the house and a female occupant ran from the residence in fear.
Police say a man who was visiting the residence was struck with the butt of the firearm, had rounds fired at his feet, was struck with a golf club and stabbed with a broken golf club.
He suffered several serious injuries including broken bones and a punctured lung.
The group then broke into another home in Killarney Retreat, Meadow Springs about 10pm, with members armed with a firearm and a tomahawk.
A shot was fired inside the house and one of the residents was attacked with a baseball bat.
Earlier that night, multiple shots were also fired at a phone box at the intersection of Waterside Drive and Leslie Street, Dudley Park.
No one was injured, however police said nearby residents feared for their safety.
Yesterday, Mandurah Detectives arrested and charged a 26-year-old senior member of the Nomads Motorcycle Club from Greenfields, a 25-year-old Waikiki man and a 32-year-old Langford man in relation to the string of incidents.
The men were refused bail and will face the Perth Magistrates Court today, each charged with 17 serious firearm, home burglary, assault and other offences.
