Three men believed to be linked to Nomads MC have been arrested and a motorbike has been seized as police crack down on motorcycle clubs.
A motorcycle has been seized and three men believed to be linked to a motorcycle club have been charged by police with a number of Commonwealth and state offences.
The Tasmanian Australian National Anti-Gangs Squad on Monday said arrests were made on a 22-year-old alleged Nomad member and a 51-year-old alleged Nomad affiliate.
One of the pair’s motorcycles – alleged to be used in a series of hooning and traffic offences by a third man – was confiscated.
The two men appeared before Hobart Magistrates Court charged with supporting a criminal organisation.
Both men were granted bail and are set to appear before Hobart Magistrates Court this month.
