Former Hells Angels bikie Ben “Notorious” Geppert, who earlier this year vowed to shy away from his former life of crime, has been arrested in New South Wales.
Geppert, 28, was arrested by officers from the Tweed/Byron District around 7.15pm yesterday on an existing warrant issued by the Queensland Police Service’s bikie patrol group, Task Force Maxima.
Geppert was wanted by cops for alleged offences relating to extortion, robbery and a serious assault that occurred on the Gold Coast earlier this month.
According to the NSW Police Force, Geppert was spotted standing by a parked car in Harpullia Ct, near Casuarina Way in Kingscliff, triggering the start of what would be an extensive pursuit.
