A gunshot echoed through a usually quiet Townsville suburb, an alleged member of the Lone Wolf MC the trigger man, police allege.
The victim shuffled into a car, bloody, a wound in his back, and he’s dumped at the Townsville University Hospital.
The shooting on August 29 shocked the sleepy northern beaches suburb of Bohle, an incident more suited to the Gold Coast, where bikies reign supreme.
The victim was initially afraid to talk, fearing his alleged attacker would come back. The Sudanese born man remained on the lamb for four days before police got a name and swiftly arrested.
Yohans ‘Yoyo’ Shol, 26, was arrested on September 2 and charged with acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm.
Police intelligence suggest Shol was in Townsville scouting out the city for the Coolangatta based Lone Wolf MC.
