An alleged patched Rebels bikie club member is expected to apply for bail in a Cairns court on Friday after being charged with drug offences and a belt with Rebels insignia in public.

Detectives from the Cairns Criminal Investigation branch raided a White Rock residence about 10.45am on Wednesday and two men, alleged to be father and son, were detained.

Quantities of cannabis, cocaine, MDMA tablets and drug utensils were allegedly seized at the Hollywood Blvd address, along with telephones, computer devices and clothing items.

White Rock man Phillip Vernon Yanner, 45 had his case mentioned in the Cairns Magistrates Court on Thursday morning.

He is charged with three counts of possession of a dangerous drug, two counts of possession of a drug utensil and one count each of contravening an order and wearing a prohibited item in public.

Police will allege Mr Yanner was wearing a belt with Rebels insignia during a group social motorbike ride to the Avenue of Honour in Yungaburra in late July.
