WWVC receives donation for next project

Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association

The Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association Chapter 28-3 and the Fort Rucker Buffalo Soldiers Motorcycle Club donated $4,000 to the Wiregrass Wounded Veterans Committee on Tuesday, June 25, for the organization’s next project: a dock/fishing pier for disabled veterans.

The dock will be built behind the Wounded Warrior Retreat by the Lake, the handicap-accessible cabin on Lake Tholoccco. The cost for the dock project is an estimated $35,000. The CVMA and Buffalo Soldiers MC presented the donation at the cabin.
