ELLENVILLE, N.Y. — A man and two teenagers have been charged with gang assault and robbery for a violent incident that occurred earlier this month, according to village police.
Alexander Adkins Padilla (aka “AP”), 32, of Monticello, Simeon J. Walker (aka “Drop”), 18, of Ellenville, and Jermaine Miller (aka “Maine”), 17, of Ellenville, were charged with the felonies on July 17 in connection with a violent assault and robbery that occurred July 9 in Ellenville, police said.
Police said Padilla is a member of the Sucka Free MC.
The arrests were made after a search warrant was executed at 23 Church St. in Ellenville, according to the village police department.
After their arraignments, Padilla was sent to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $500,000 bail, and Walker and Miller in lieu of $100,000 bail each.
Police said the assault, against an 18-year-old male, occurred about 11 a.m. July 9 at the corner of Park and Warren Streets in Ellenville. He was punched by two males and fell to the ground, then was attacked by several people, including one armed with a billy club, according to police.
Police said the victim was struck in the head and body and that the attackers stole property from him and fled on foot.
The victim was taken to Ellenville Regional Hospital for treatment.
Additional arrests are expected, police said.
