At about 9:30 p.m. that night, police were called to 1006 College St., where a large crowd was leaving the parking lot of the Dragons Motorcycle Club clubhouse.
Police found Eric Scott Hardy, 26, of Clarksville, in the parking lot. He was taken to Tennova Healthcare, where he died of his injuries.
A second shooting victim was found in the area of 1030 Main St. He had been shot in the neck and was taken by helicopter to a Nashville hospital. That 44-year-old man has since been released from the hospital, according to Clarksville Police Department spokesman Jim Knoll.
A review of video surveillance footage showed Jackie Dewayne Davis, 29, picking up items off the ground, presumably shell casings, and removing them from the scene just before police arrived, Knoll said.
“After further review of the video footage, several shell casings were believed to be missing from the scene,” Knoll said.
Now a second man, Brady Robert Goodwin, has been charged with tampering after he was identified from the video as well.
Davis and Goodwin were both booked into Montgomery County Jail.
Hardy was born Feb. 25, 1993, in Clarksville to Mike and Jill Hardy, according to his obituary. He was a carpenter and a member of the United Heathens Motorcycle Club. He had two young daughters, both of Clarksville.
