(Vienna Township, Mich.) State police say an argument at the Jokers Motorcycle Club early Sunday morning , lead to one man being critically hurt and another man being arrested.
According to State Police, the incident started inside Joker’s, when 2 “non club members” entered the club.
They became inebriated and were asked to leave.
Witnesses told police they were “loud and mouthy”.
Other men from the club met up with them outside. They began arguing when a 33 year old Mt. Morris man became lodged in the window of the suspects car. He sped off and was dragged hanging out of the car down Dort Highway.
The driver hit some barrels because the area is under road construction.
That’s when the victim fell off the vehicle.
Police say the victim was rushed to a local hospital, where he’s improved from critical to stable condition.
A 21 year old Clio man was arrested and charged with assault.
Dort Highway was shut down from Saginaw to Dodge for several hours while police investigated.
Police took pictures at the scene.
Initially, police would only say “something significant happened here”.
We reached out to Joker’s Motorcycle Club, but were unable to reach them.
