Mr Mulder left his residence on Kempster Street around 9am on Monday August 19 to ride his blue Triumph Sprint ST motorcycle, Queensland registration 769DW.
It is understood that Mr Mulder intended to ride to Esk and planned to return home by noon.
He has not been heard from since and police and family hold concerns for his welfare as this behaviour is out of character.
The search and rescue coordinator has today engaged 13 State Emergency Service (SES) crews to search various roadways from Ferny Grove, through the Samford Valley to Esk and back through Dayboro.
The SES crews are conducting a low speed drive through of this area and will conduct foot searches if necessary in an attempt to locate Mr Mulder or his motorcycle.
Police have appreciated the help of a local motorcycle club that has continue to encourage its members to be on the look out for Mr Mulder.
The club is arranging for a large-scale ride of the area of concern over the coming weekend.
Mr Mulder is described as approximately 180cm tall with a slim build, grey short hair and grey facial hair.
He was last seen wearing a black leather jacket, blue jeans and black helmet with a dark tinted visor.
Investigators are appealing for anyone who may have seen Mr Mulder travelling to or from Esk on Wednesday to contact police.
Additionally, anyone who was driving in the area and who may have a dash cam is being asked to review their footage for any signs of Mr Mulder or his motorcycle.
