A motorcycle parade, dubbed Bring it Home 2019, is set for Oct. 5, 2019, in an effort to break the record of continuous Harley-Davidson motorcycles on parade. The current world record is held by Hellas Motorcycle club of Greece, with 2,404 Harleys, set in 2010.
The parade will depart from Love Civic Center at 1 p.m. and make its way down Collegiate to Loop 286, exiting at Jefferson Road, on a return route to the civic center.
The Bring it Home parade will be led by motorcycle enthusiast Adam Sandoval of adamsandovalrides.com. He is well-known in the motorcycle community for his work with various charitable organizations, including the Wounded Warrior Project, Motorcycle Missions, American Legion and the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association.
In addition to the world record attempt, the Bring it Home parade will raise funds for Motorcycle Missions, a 501C3 nonprofit corporation which helps first responders with PTSD. The $15 per bike registration fee will be donated, in full, to Motorcycle Missions. The goal is to reach $45,000 in contributions.
Due to the record guidelines, only Harley-Davidsons will count toward the goal of more than 2,404 to claim a new record.
