The boss of the Comanchero bikie club in Western Australia is a “free man” after a murder charge against him was dropped.

Raymond Bradley Cilli had been accused of ordering the murder of Alf Deon Eades, 46, in prison.

Raymond Cilli is a free man after a murder charge against him was dropped.

Mr Eades was found injured in his cell at Hakea Prison on February 26 and died about two weeks later.

Cilli appeared in Stirling Gardens Magistrates Court on Wednesday where the charges were discontinued due to no reasonable prospect of conviction.

“There are no other charges. He’ll be a free man,” his lawyer Terry Dobson said.

Liam Christopher McGlade, Cooper Clay, Clinton Alan Penny, Joshua Alexander Black, Shaun Kapene and Brandon Shaquille Taylor remain charged with murder.

They will return to court on December 18.
