Police raid nets classic Australian muscle car from alleged drug dealer

Detectives have seized a classic car from a suspected drug dealer after a raid on his property south of Brisbane.

Officers from the Logan Major and Organised Crime Squad-Organised Crime Gangs Group raided the Leo Lindo Drive property at Shailer Park about 9.30am in relation to alleged drug offences.

Police allegedly located drugs, cash, a taser and Motorcycle Club paraphernalia.

By the comments of our readers with Club affiliation Motorcycle Club patches are fake and charged person does not have any relations with the Club.

Detectives also seized a classic Ford Falcon utility alleging the muscle car to be the proceeds of crime.

A 50-year-old Shailer Park man has been charged with 10 offences, including one count of supply, three counts of possession relating to drugs, one count of possession of an item used in a crime, two counts of possessing drug utensils, one count of possessing suspected proceeds, one count of possessing a weapon and once count of possessing explosives.

He will appear before the Beenleigh Magistrates Court on July 7.

Two women from Shailer Park were charged with one count each of possessing a dangerous drug and two counts of possessing a drug utensil.

Both women were offered and accepted a drug diversion.
