There was great excitement in Tuntenhausen in Upper Bavaria when Hells Angels suddenly set up charter there. Members of the motorcycle club are said to have founded the “Charter Rosenheim”, a local group, and chose the building of a former butcher’s shop in Tuntenhausen as their clubhouse. At the opening ceremony in July last year, more than 100 partially convicted members came. Local residents were concerned.
The mayor said: “We don’t need them here.”
Not quite a year later, it has apparently become quiet around the bikers from Tuntenhausen. “We currently do not know whether the chapter still exists,” said a spokesman for the State Criminal Police Office. But it is known that the president of the Rosenheim Hells Angels has to go to prison for one year and eight months, among other things, for forced prostitution. The judgment of the Rosenheim district court had become final a few days ago.
Shortly after the founding of the Rosenheim Hells Angels charter, investigations against its president started, police and prosecutors said on Tuesday. At first there was only suspicion of the cocaine trade, finally forced prostitution and other crimes were added.
The bikers boss was arrested in September. Among other things, the 36-year-old is said to have played a love affair with a young, single mother with considerable financial difficulties and forced her to prostitute herself.
Her income – near 40,000 euros in three months – had to be handed over to the unemployed president of the club, except for small amounts. This is said to have financed his “luxurious lifestyle”. For example, he and another prostitute lived in an upscale family home and most recently drove Harley Davidson, Bentley and Maserati cars and motorcycles.
For the police, however, the issue is far from over, the spokesman for the State Criminal Police Office told: “Regardless of how they are officially organized and whether they already have a new president or not, we always concidering them as part of organized crime.”
