Brisbane (B-N.C) – A former QLD Bandidos prez was assaulted at in a daylight ambush allegedly by a long-time rival club member from the Comancheros, at a Brisbane industrial estate.
Mario Vosmaer, former Brisbane Bandidos MC president, was at his Archerfield car yard around 1pm on Thursday when he was called to the street by a man claiming he wanted to buy a car.
The conversation was not constructive so Vosmaer returned to his property, but man allegedly said he is a Comanchero member and pulled out gun fitted with suppressor.
Approximately 20 shots were fired during a fight over controlling a gun, several cars parked around were damaged, but luckily nobody was killed or even wounded.
Wounds received by Vosmaer were inflicted by a bashing of his head with a gun during the fight.
The wife of Vosmaer jumped on the back of the suspected Comanchero who at one point, shot at at her as he chased her down the street.
Paramedics treated Vosmaer for cuts to his head. He refused hospital treatment.
There was also a women with suspect.
The suspected Comanchero and the woman fled in a late model silver Holden Commodore with several bullet holes.
The motive of the attack is unclear.
