A Gold Coast bikie arrested on the Pacific Motorway has had his motorcycle impounded, as police fire off a “warning to all criminal gangs”.
Officers arrested an alleged Mongols MC member on Saturday after he was found to be driving unlicensed and tested positive for drugs, police allege. His motorcycle was seized and impounded for 90 days.
The arrest comes after a Mongols associate was charged by task force officers earlier this month after allegedly locating drugs, including methamphetamine and steroids, during the search of a Gold Coast unit.
Dylan Kim Salmond, 29, was arrested at Chevron Renaissance Towers in Surfers Paradise on Saturday, 6 June 2020. Salmond was charged by Taskforce Maxima officers on Saturday. A search of the apartment allegedly turned up drugs, firearm parts and ammunition.
