Members of the Taree and District Vintage and Classic Motorcycle Club recently visited Rainbow Flat to support an organisation that provides a different kind of ride than they prefer to use.
The Club is a long time supporter of Riding for the Disabled (RDA) Manning and Great Lakes, and the visit was to present a generous gift of $500 to RDA.
Club members were welcomed by horse representatives, Dolly and Gypsy, for the cheque handover. A tour of the stables was undertaken for a meet and greet with the other RDA horses.
The Club holds an annual rally with bikes coming from Broken Hill, Sydney, Western NSW, and Toowoomba and Bowen in Qld. The usual attendance is around 120 motorcycles of all vintages ranging from 1925 bikes to the more modern models.
