A Head Hunters MC member appeared in court over armed kidnapping charges.
Christchurch police searched two properties on Wednesday by the reason of the kidnapping that allegedly happened on Saturday.
As a result of operation Benjamin Gabriel Dean Kney was arrested at a Vickerys Rd property known to be used by Head Hunters MC members.
The Head Hunters took over the Vickerys Rd property from the now defunct Epitaph Riders bikie gang in October 2015
The 46-year-old appeared in the Christchurch District Court on Wednesday over kidnapping, drugs, and firearms charges.
He was remanded in custody until February 24.
