Toronto: Hells Angels biker killed in execution-style shooting on the Danforth

Harry Lainas, 47, who was a member of the Hells Angels’ Simcoe South charter and formerly with the Keswick Hells Angels was shot dead Tuesday night in the parking of a condo on Danforth Avenue.

Police said the victim discovered on 2301 Danforth Ave., near Oak Park Avenue, around 10:24 p.m. Tuesday night, where Mr.Lainas was found dead with multiple gunshot wounds in the parking garage.

No description of a suspect was released and no arrersts were reported.

The successful hit on Mr.Lainas was preceded by another attempt on his life nearly two years ago while collecting illegal gambling revenues in the same area where he was slain.

Mr.Lainas was well known to police as he had brushes with the law that went back decades.

Police alleged that Mr.Lainas was a member of an organized crime ring that impersonated police during a string of armed robberies in 2008.
