A former Soldier with military experience in Iraq has been arrested over the murder of ex-Rebels bikie boss Nick Martin.
A raid on a home in Waikiki on Monday resulted in the arrest of a suspect who is currently questioned by cops.
Also, a motorcycle and a boat parked in front of the house were seized among other items.
The forensic team were seen looking for evidence in the surrounding bushland and saltwater flats.
The arrested man and his girlfriend were described by their neighbours as ‘model neighbours’ who always looked out for the community.
It is not clear whether charges have yet been made.
