A Bandidos outlaw motorcycle club (OMC) associate will appear in court today after Strike Force Raptor found a shotgun, nearly $6000 cash and prohibited drugs at a home in Sydney’s west.
As part of ongoing targeting, the Criminal Groups Squad’s Strike Force Raptor stopped a vehicle in Penrith just after 5.30pm yesterday (Monday 9 December 2019).
Police spoke to the driver, a 25-year-old man, before he was arrested and taken to Penrith Police Station.
Shortly after the arrest, Strike Force Raptor investigators executed a search warrant at a home on Station Street, Penrith.
During the search, officers located and seized a shortened single barrel shotgun, a machete, a 25cm bladed trench knife, ammunition, a silencer, a gold-plated pen gun, more than $5800 cash, 420g cannabis, 460g of white powder believed to be cocaine, and MDMA, LSD and steroids.
All items were seized and will undergo forensic analysis.
The man was charged with supply prohibited drug, two counts of possess unregistered firearm, two counts of possess or use a prohibited weapon without permission and possess ammunition without holding licence/permit/authority.
The man, who is a Bandidos OMC associate, was refused bail to appear Penrith Local Court today (Tuesday 10 December 2019).
