The dreary weather this morning didn’t stop bikers from going on their annual ride for Wheels on the Ground.
Many motorcyclists gathered to raise awareness for those who have gotten injured or killed due to motorcycle accidents.
The group started this tradition in 2012 and they ride to promote safety, teach others to watch out for bikes and to pay attention to others on the road
Emergecare led the way for the bikers to ride past areas where accidents occurred.
Vince Rizzone, the Chaplain and Founder of Mission Riders said, “when you think of an accident, we ride to the funeral home, so we are just doing it to promote safety to show people that we are out there, it’s summertime, everything may be cancelled but we are still riding.”
