Robin Phillips, the Founder of the Richard Phillips Down Biker Fund, could use some community support as she faces health issues. In April of 2017, Phillips created the Richard Phillips Down Biker Fund to help victims or their family members with their immediate needs, following a catastrophic accident.
Phillips has helped so many families in our community, including mine, on a couple of occasions, following a fatal motorcycle crash, and a catastrophic crash. Now, it is our turn to pay it forward.
“Now that I have spoken to my family and did a little digesting of my news from the Dr., I will now share it. I will be having an MRI on June 25, one of my kidneys has a lot of cysts, one that looks suspicious and he thinks it might be cancer. If it is, they will start cancer treatment,” Phillips told.
“Hopefully, it is not, and if not, they will do the surgery for removal of the giant stones on June 26. The wait is going to be the longest and hardest part. Prayers are much appreciated,” Phillips added.
She has been there for so many families. And like most givers, she is having a hard time accepting help for herself. So, her friends and family members have put together this poker run.
