Comanchero refused bail over alleged shooting of Nomad rival

A low ranking Canberra bikie club associate accused of taking part in the shooting and firebombing of a rival’s home also took part in a jailhouse riot in Canberra’s Alexander Maconochie Centre last month, a court has heard.

Christopher James Millington, 32, was on Thursday refused bail in the ACT Supreme Court, with Justice Michael Elkaim rejecting his defence lawyers’s argument that the prosecution case against him was weak.

Millington has pleaded not guilty to aggravated burglary, arson with an intent to endanger life, discharging a weapon and attempting to destroy evidence.
