TRI-CITIES, Wash. (B-N.C) — The Kennewick Irrigation District and other leaders organized a special event to honor healthcare workers on the front line of the coronavirus battle.

KID, Benton PUD, Kennewick Police, Pasco Police, Richland Police and more all gathered for the event. Organizers say many members of the 509 Riders Group and a local Mustang Club also joined the event.

Approximately 50 lighted vehicles began the ceremony at Trios in Kennewick at 7:30 PM.

The group turned on their lights to show support for nurses and doctors treating patients.

The event then made it’s way to Lourdes in Pasco and drove around the hospital campus.

Finally, the group made its way to the parking deck at Kadlec Medical Center to show support for hospital staff.

FINAL STOP: Light up the night finishes it’s tribute in Richland at Kadlec!
